Training and Help
Getting started takes an email and a short setup. The seven Abridge videos are the whole curriculum, and help is inside the app when something breaks.
Getting Started in Clinic. Personal Note Preferences. Getting Started in the Emergency Department. Getting Started in the Hospital. Intro to Abridge AI. Patient Visit Summary. Dictation with Abridge.
Open the playlist on YouTube →Hosted on the hub's unlisted YouTube channel with Abridge's permission.
Getting started
For a 1:1 onboarding or optimization session, email Madeline Stein at Abridge: madeline.stein@abridge.com.
Your User Settings Lab includes Abridge setup, so bring your note templates and your exam macro. Make It Write Like You is what you will work through while you are there.
Try it before your first patient
Record a practice visit with a colleague, or with a family member playing the patient, so your first real note is not your first note.
Help
Support is inside the app: the Settings menu, then Support, for live chat with an agent. Or email help@abridge.com. Staffed 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern, seven days a week; a chat started outside those hours gets an email follow-up.
The IT Help Desk handles all of it. Call 417-347-4500 or submit a request at fhsitsm.saasit.com.
Workflow ideas go to the CMIO office through Epic Suggestions.
Epic Suggestions →Email each issue separately rather than replying to an old thread, and include the date and approximate time of the encounter, what happened, and what you have already tried.
The seven videos
Each one plays on the page where that workflow lives.
